This is a 12x12” acrylic painting on a gallery thick, 1.5”, stretched canvas. The reference image used for this painting is a compilation of sunset shots I took from the Eiffel Tower in 2016, as well as a blurred photograph of a twilit farmer’s field near my childhood home in Ottawa, Ontario. This piece was done as a final project for my year at the Ottawa School of Art in 2020-2021, and is partnered with Horizons 2. The goal was to make a more loose, geometric landscape, diverging from my typical, more representational painting style. The edges of this piece are done in a vibrant red, adding to the more contemporary style of the work, and allowing for immediate hanging, no framing required (personal preference dependent).
Can be purchased individually, or as a set with Horizons 2 for $325.00 total. Email me to purchase both items at the paired discount! |

Cleaning and care instructions:
- Paintings get dusty from time to time, that’s okay! I recommend making a micro-fibre cloth lightly damp with clean water, and very gently running it over the area(s) in question.
- When moving / working with canvas, it’s important to not let the work lean into anything etc. that could puncture, or distort the material.
- When it comes to prints, I highly recommend handling them with clean, or gloved hands, even the oils on our skin can impact the sheen and colouring of prints.
In the unfortunate case of returns and refunds, I will always do my best to ensure my collectors are taken care of! In the very rare circumstance of shipping follies and/or damage to work, I will work with clients directly to create a reasonable solution.
