FIXATING ON SOLITARY ITEMS IS SOMETHING I DO OFTEN.

When left to my devices, I'm almost always shooting nature scenes, or using my camera to emphasize items that stand out to me as particularly sublime. As a middle schooler with my first, cheap point and shoot camera, I was consistently taking macro-style images, thought the quality left a lot to be desired. Over the years, I haven't strayed too far from that tendency to isolate solitary things and frame them in interesting ways.
